Louise Gookey is TV and radio presenter, reporter, sustainability advocate and proud Mum of her cheeky Cockapoo Dexter! 

Sustainability became a passion of Louise’s after learning how fast fashion impacted the environment. This led to a curiosity in consumerism and exploring ways we can spend without destroying our planet.

Recently Louise was at the Ideal Home Show delivering a daily talk on easy eco-swaps in the home, alongside hosting the Spring Clean Stage.

As a supporter of the Soil Association, she was delighted to team up with them earlier in the year to host their annual Organic Beauty & Wellbeing conference which looked at the UK-certified organic beauty market in depth.

Louise currently shares tips on environmentally friendly living on her Instagram account @louisegookey and helping develop Sustainable Fashion Week in London.

Alongside this Louise has a wealth of experience as a presenter and voice-over artist and has worked across the industry chatting with everyone from pop stars like Ashley Roberts to footballing legends like Jermaine Pennant and not forgetting film stars and emerging artists too!  And when she’s not in front of the camera, or behind a mic, she’s at a desk writing stories as a reporter for the Sun on Sunday.

Louise brings positivity to everything she does and is passionate about having conversations that empower, educate and entertain.

Louise has presented for the likes of BBC Good Food, Spotlight TV, Showcase TV and Property TV, and hosted award shows like The National Film Awards, World Fashion Awards, Digital Education Awards and National Reality TV Awards.  

On the radio, Louise has worked as a contributor for great stations including BBC London, Talk Radio and Love Sport Radio, and had her own shows on Soulbreeze Radio, Juice FM, Radio Jackie, Vibe FM and Rathergood Radio. Currently, she can be heard presenting the travel news across LBC, Smooth and Gold Radio. 

Louise has presented for a long list of great brands either hosting their live events or presenting their promotional videos including Google, BT, Boots, Argos, Skinny Tan, Hoover, Cannon and Just Eat. She’s also graced the stage at some really exciting events like The National Pet Show and hosted live event TV for shows such as Brand Licensing Europe and The Business Travel Show.
